Web Summit is a Tech conference created by the Irish Paddy Cosgrave the inverse W representing the Summit for those who did not get it. Forbes qualify it as the best tech conference in the planet which is a pretty cool statement to have on your website.

Over 1300 Speakers and 70000 attendees were discussing the hottest topic of the Tech planet despite a the famous November Lisbon rain. One big announcement this year the Portuguese government announced 30 millions on the table to keep the Web Summit in Lisbon for the next 10 years.

Last year was my first year at Web Summit. Remember bitcoin crazy curve just started Ethereum was supposed to revolutionize our world and it was all about cryptocurrencies. The hype seemed to be over this year leaving place for the elephant in the room. Artificial Intelligence The most misused, speculative buzzword in history.
